In County Meath, a 21-year-old pedestrian was killed after being struck by a car at Kilcairn on the Dublin Road in Navan.

Gardai have named the man who died after being knocked down on the outskirts of Navan late last night. He was 21-year-old Stuart Rennicks from Moatlands Drive in the town.
