A two car crash on the Dundalk to Carrickmacross road on Monday night resulted in the death of six-week-old Michael Connolly of Dundalk. His aunt, who was injured in the collision was rushed to hospital where she gave birth to a baby boy, delivered prematurely by caesarean section. Michael's grandmother and aunt were returning from Louth County Hospital where they had visited his mother, Yvonne.
