The Munster Express
"It was with deep regret that we record the untimely death of Paul Sullivan, Laurel Park, Cherrymount, Waterford. Paul, a native of Larchville, Lisduggan, Waterford and who is survived by his wife Liz, sons Christopher 9 years and Lee 4 years, his parents Robbie and Mary Sullivan, brothers Noel, Victor and sister Dawn, his nanny and aunt Breda. Paul was employed in Allied Signal for the past fourteen years. For ten of those years he was a committee member of the factory's social club. He will be sadly missed by all who enjoyed his nights out and the mystery tours he organised, with Paul nobody knew where they would end up. Paul will be remembered and sadly missed by all in the Falcon Motor Cycle Club in which he had recently become a member. To him they were like a second family. Over the past few months Paul attended numerous rallies throughout the country accompanied by his wife Liz. It was ironic that his passion and love of bikes contributed to his death. He will always be remembered for his generous spirit in helping others enjoy life. Paul and Liz were both on the parents committee of the local scouts where their son Christopher was a member. He loved to help out in his free time. Paul loved to travel and had just returned from a family holiday in Spain, of which his wife Liz and sons will always have warm and happy memories. Paul will be sadly missed by his wife Liz, sons Christopher and Lee, parents, brothers, sister, nephews, nieces, colleagues and his many friends who had the pleasure of knowing and sharing his life with him. His remains were removed to the Sacred Heart Church on Monday, 7th August where they were received by Rev. Fr. Sean Melody. A guard of honour was formed outside by the Falcon MCC and the local Scouts. After Requiem Mass on Tuesday his remains were brought to Ballinaneeshagh cemetery, Waterford escorted by much loved members of Falcon MCC. There was a very large attendance at both the removal and the burial, which showed the high regard Paul had for all his friends and family. His wife Liz would like to thank all who sent flowers, mass bouquets and the many donations made by his many friends and colleagues which will be donated to the Falcon MCC Charity run in aid of Our Lady's Children's Hospital, Crumlin. Liz would like to thank everyone for their kindness and support over the past weeks."
