Glengarra Wood is between Mitchelstown and Cahir. This memorial is just north of the entrance to the wood, 5 miles from Kilbeheny.

Tom O'Connor
died 25th Oct 1982
both aged 23 years
and lifelong friends

25th and 27th Oct 1982 fell on Monday and Wednesday respectively

You can see how close these two memorials are, because the parapet which contains Marie Hanrahan's plaque is clearly seen in the above photo to the right of the red vehicle.
