Aughrim - 4 Sites
There are three memorials within a 1.6 mile stretch of road, starting three-quarters of a mile east (Ballinasloe side) of Aughrim cross. The fourth memorial here is at Aughrim Cross itself.

Aughrim 1

Road: N6 County Galway

This is the nearest to Aughrim of these three and is very hard to spot, being hidden by ivy and set in to the parapet of a bridge.

This simple stone is the second of these and is set into a pillar on the roadside about a mile and a half on the Ballinasloe side of Aughrim.
